NEED: Right mirror (Stock) Lower right fairing piece. PM me. Had a turd back into my bike today... no camaras, nobody saw them. All the same, it broke my right rearview mirror. If you've got one cheap, toss me a PM. Has to be for a 2007 Honda CBR 600rr, I'm not looking for aftermarket parts at this time, factory only please. Thanks. Also, if someone also has a right, lower fairing piece for a good price, mines got some mild scratches and that urks me, I'd take PM's for prices on those too. (Prefer it still has the honda sticker on it)

Hmm... I don't know how to fix said scratches... but I'd be interested in a word on how to do so. I'll throw down some google action if nobody has any quick advice. Other than that... I need a mirror dang it. Ebay has a bunch of left mirrors, but that's not doing me any good. I'll keep searching. I was just hoping someone here was tracking the bike out or something and had an extra mirror they didn't need anymore that I could get for cheap.

It may not be worth the hassle. Just replace it for yourself and sell the old one for a little dough. If your part with the mild scratches starts getting over $100 dollars in price, it may be worth it to fix. You just need some sandpaper in different grits (320, 400, 800) and a two part plastic repair from your local auto parts store (Pecker boys, Auto zone, maybe even WalMart). This would be a good time to pick out some paint that you'd like for it. Anywho, sand the scratches down somewhat but be careful not to go down too deep in the plastic... that's what the fill is for. By roughing it up with sandpaper, the two part will fill and bond with the original plastic as it dries. If the scratches are light enough, they may just come out with the sanding and you can return the two part repair. Once it dries, sand it flat with the more aggressive grit then go back with the other grits in order of coursest to finest. Be thorough because scratches from the coarse grits that you don't sand down with the lighter grits will show up under your paint. Wash the part to remove all dirt and such before painting. I'm willing to bet you could get away with a good spray bomb if you take your time and practice on something else before painting the actual part itself. This isn't hard. If you look up some at home paint projects people do, it's really easy to understand how it all works. Let me know if you need some more advice.
