Yea, I'm a bit suspicious about their answer.  That's why I put that little comment about the emails between me and Jeff and how fast he forgot.  I'll give him the benefit of the doubt due to being so busy, but only because Tony said so.  Tony seems to have a genuine concern regarding my pleas and does get back to me very quick with an answer.

I hope to get better info this coming weekend as Tony said he'll be at the Long Beach Bike Show.

If I had done more research and found ALL those complaints about MXD, I would have ordered from a different company...

I have a SI cage and round bar for sale

Jeff isnt busy making cages, he is busy running his other business that is where he makes his money.  The cages are just a side thing, thats why he isnt really worried about them.

No wonder I found two address for Jeff.  One in Rancho Cucumonga and the other in Riverside.

I think they are both ran out of the same shop.  Just the cages are made in the back corner and seem to get ignored

I'll see Tony Carbajal this weekend to confirm status as he'll be at the Long Beach Bike Show.  He's a little embarrased because he personally referred me to MXD when I met him at the Del Mar Bike Show a few months back.  He's pretty sincere about helping me out.  He even offered to meet me half way (Riverside and San Diego) to deliver the cage to me.

skubysnak, what happened w tony at the show?

I talked to Tony after his practice run as he and Jason Britton were going to do a stunt show.  Tony said the cage was getting powder coated and would be ready this week.  Tony even offered to drive down to San Diego from Riverside to deliver it personally.  He sent me a text message last night asking if this Wednesday would be ok to deliver it.  I know he's busy and told him to just mail it.  Should only take a day or so, plus it'll be cheaper than gas and time on the road.

I expect to get it this week.  Tony apologized for the confusions, delays, shitty customer service on MXD's part, etc...He kept saying he'll deliver it personally, but all this wasn't his fault.  Tony is just the messenger passing only what Jeff tells him.  If MXD had better customer service, I wouldn't have bitched so much.  Tony relayed my concerns to Jeff.

Thanx Tony for the quick follow ups to my requests and stunt tips!!!

Tony texted me last night and said that he'd overnight mail it to me.  I'm hoping to get it today or tomorrow, depending on when they put it in the mail...
