This link may help if your looking for a pipe.
Hasn't helped me much, only more questions.
I have a 929 with a scorpian silpon. I always thought it was the pipe that was causing the funk top end scream. I put a Leo Vince on my new bike & I have a similar high end howl.
I'm starting to wonder if it is the maker of the pipe or the bike.  At + or - $500.00 I need to know what I'm dealing with. If it's like the sound difference between Ford & chevy. There isn't much point in throwing more money at it.
The handleing of this bike is so kick ass. I'm not going back to Suzuki any time soon. But I would like to get a better sound out of it if possible.
Anybody in Houston with an arata, wolf, or akro on a 1k? I'd like to swap for a couple miles. There's a free lunch in it.

I've read some of Baxsom's info the guy know's a lot.
I gave somebody some advise about taking off cables on an exhaust servo that wasn't explicitly correct. I'm thinking his stance would be. Oh your one of those!
What ya say Bax?  Feel like taking the street ride to Texas World any time soon?

i do have the arata slip, personally i think it sounds like auditory jesus,

riding to tx world.
i dont think so hahaha. i was planning on doing the 24 nov track day there but being thanksgiving and all i decided if i wanted to stay married id pass on this one.

the 1000rr has been rendered a street only bike ever since i bought my 07 600RR. it is designated track only.
all the street fairings are gone. and the wiring harness has been hacked up so that only the necessary wires to run the bike are still there.  i cut almost 2lbs of wire out of this thing. it has a leo vince btw.

yeah if you are around SA let me know you can listen to the arata or the leo
suprisingly the leo on the 600 is louder than the arata on the 1000 IMO

    yeah
if i am going to be serious about this track day race thing i need to take as much weight off of me as well as the bike.

so far me and the bike have lost about 10lbs each. not too bad but both of us have a long way to go
my suspension is sprung for up to 215 and i am 180 so i am good to go there but id still like to go down to about 170
