Running Qualifiers now, they are the replacements for the 208, grips great for me, and lay it over to the shoulder. No problems!

yea they take a good 15 minutes to get warm, the back slides around a little until then. I'm on my 3rd set of DQ's and they are a good tire for the price but i will be moving on to a better tire after these wear out. I'm not as comfortable on them as a i was before, the back has stepped out a few times, twice in intersections crossing over painted white lines. I hate that feeling.

well i think i might buy them for the 120....and my buddy loves them alot..so i told him $180 and he was like make it $200 cause i am selling him a full harness , tool kit, and  right side engine kill switch for his gsxr for $255 including tires....i always give him good prices and all....i have a front metzeler thats been in the garage for like a year and a half.....tires only go bad if they are on a bike not moving correct? so i am wondering if i should use that front..and buy a rear m1 and be set or if i should take the $255 and get a new set of pilot powers and get them all mounted and all

I couldn't think of a good way to put it so I found this about dry rot
quote:

This might be a very serious problem if the cords are exposed.  In essence the thing that is holding the tire together (the rubber) is splitting apart.  Like all organic materials, rubber deteriorates with time.  Once the cracks reach the cords, which are what provides the strength to resist the inflation pressure expansion, then the cords themselves will start to detriorate (They're organic, too!)

that helped a litle....my buddy is buying them for $200 so i have that and $50 for the other gsxr stuff i dont need.....what do you guys think of race take off's? theres a guy around the corner that can get some pilot powers for $100 for the set...120front/190rear but this is what he desicribed them

THESE ARE RACE TAKE OFFS THAT ARE BASICALLY "NEW"...THEY HAVE JUST BEEN WARMED UP ON ONLY. DIMPLES REAL DEEP ALL THE WAY ACROSS. NO REPAIRS.

hmm i find this very strange because i was running qualifiers on my 929 when i still had her and i found the tires warmed up very fast and were very sticky in the turns. when i 1st got her she had on pilot powers which rode nicely but after the Q's were on it was night and day difference. i could lean so much further in a turn .
