Well, apparently lowering the asking price from $5500 to $5000 obo has increased the interest in the bike.  In the time since I originally listed the bike I have made 5 more $134 payments on it- I am discounting off of my original asking price basically the amount in payments I have made over the last 5 months and the bike has gotten maybe 5 miles put on it in that time- just enough to roll it around my block to keep the tires round, the battery charged, and and the juices run through the engine and transmission.  I am basically trying to get payoff on the bike and the $1000 that I have invested in parts and labor since late last year will be a loss for me.

I believe I have responded to all of the handfull of emails and pm's that I have received since yesterday.

I would be happy to answer any further questions that anyone may have-

Take care-

Bump again....

My wife goes in Monday for heart surgery.  Following that, I won't have much time to deal with trying to find a new home for the bike for some time afterward.  If any of the people who have been interested in the bike up until now are still interested, I am willing to work out the best deal I can today or tomorrow.  However, with that said, I can't let this bike go for $4000....

This is such a beautiful bike!  I'm actually in the market for a red/white f4i (my first bike got stolen).  I would scoop this bike up in a heartbeat, but it's too big for me.  I wish you all the luck in selling this and hope everything works out for you.  If you ever have a f4i for sale, I work in Columbia MD and can be at your doorstep in a min ;)

Am about to leave to take my wife to the University of MD Medical Center for her operation.  It may be a few days before I am able to reply to any emails, pm's, or post replies anyone may leave about the bike.

To finish this post up, let me clear up any misunderstandings- I stated in post #18 that I can't let the bike go for $4000... meaning that I won't accept any $4000 offer.  Also, this bike is a 929 and not a 954.  I chose this bike over a 954 when I bought it.

If anyone has an offer closer to $5000 than $4000, let me know!

I work in Columbia, MD also... at Havertys Furniture at the corner of 175 and Dobbin Rd.

Most people who have 600's at some point find that it isn't enough bike for them.  Get the 929 and learn to ride it!

I am close enough to you that it might be worth your time to take a look at the bike.  Let me know!

Bike will be listed on Ebay either Sunday or Monday evening where I have seen bikes with similar mileage and nowhere nearly as nice as this one sell for more than what I will accept for this bike....

Am holding out hope that a true CBR enthusiast from this forum will get it first....

Photos of the bike were replaced with new and better photos today.  The bike will be listed on Ebay tonight- we had company over yesterday which kept me from being able to list it last night.

Mike, the bike was listed on Ebay.  There is a buy it now option on the listing.  Let me know if you have anymore questions or if you are interested enough to take any further steps towards its purchase.

hey man i own a 2001 cbr600 f4i, iv been lookin around to try and find a bike for my best friend who is really trying to find a nice buy bike, as i speak he is sitting next to me and really likes what he sees, he is willing to offer u 4500 on the spot in cash for the bike, he is in the process of selling a 1993 volkswagon corado and as soon as it is sold(hopefully within the next week) he is all about getting a bike, after looking over all this info in my opinion i think this is a great buy, we would be willing to come down and look over the bike and if we like what we see put a down deposit on the bike, if you r still serious about selling the bike and have no other serious offers give him a call at 443-417-8175(his name is brian) or contact me at schnitzer704@hotmail.com and he can set something up(my name is nate). we live in bel air just north of baltimore so pick up will be no problem, hopefully we will hear from u soon,
