what is the loudest pipe out there? i want to come as close as possible to drowning out the sound of a harley. when i was working this summer 3 street bikes went by and i think one of them was a 1300gsxr and it was loud real loud and when they stoped and it was idling it had that loud straight pipe v8 sound to it. anyway its the best sounding bike i have heard. any of you know of any pipes that might be able to reproduce this sound?

D and D sound like shit on smaller bikes IMO. A friend has one on his gsxr 1k and it sounds ok.

kerker is another loud one that you will hear commonly on drag bikes.

devil is loud in a good way as is Jardine.

my two brothers is fairly loud.

I'm with these guys. D&D are pretty annoying in my experiences, but I've often heard them on 600s. My Jardine has a nice sound to it but probably isn't as loud as you want. The only other bike I've heard D&D on is a TL and that sounded pretty sweet on a twin.

I had a Jardine RT-One on my '01 600F4i and it was very loud. The stock pipe on my 954RR is too quiet. I just got a 2 Bros but have not had the chance to install it yet. That will be my winter project.

hey Dave do you still have that D&D pipe for sell?

also would you need a pcIII if you replace from the o2 sencer back, and leave the stock o2 sencer there?

also what is the diffrence between a slip on and a bolt on?

Friend had a D&D on his R6 and I think about a 1/4 mile away it sounded like my head was in the muffler. Just bought one for my 929. should be here today. I have a micron, pretty quite sounds nice. The D&D will only be on for those loud days I want to make my friends happy that they are riding with me. (actuallY I have two friends I ride with, with loud pipes that like to do fly by's and scare me now and then so Now its payback)

Don't forget, the louder the exhaust, the bigger the red flag you are waving at the cops.....
