i was wondering if i bought a subframe for a different bike and welded it on could i then make a rear end off of that or will i even be able to weld it on in the right spot.

well.....the subframe bolts on with 4 bolts, there is now way that you would want to weld that.......

secondly, its aluminum, and finding someone to TIG that up would be really hard, most people dont weld that kind of aluminum.....

What are you trying to do exactly???

i am trying to take the subframe from a new 600rr and all the seats and such to redo the back end of the bike.

your frame is steel, the 600rr is alloy. you can make some mounts on your steel frame for the new tail. or you can weld 4 mounts to your frame so the 600rr subfame will bolt up.

ok thanks i wasnt sure how i would need to do it i might still have more questions when i get to doing the change but now i have the general idea. thanks again

When it comes to modifications RSP919 can REALLY tell you about it! You look up the word in the dictionary and it has a picture of RSP919's bike! LOL
