You can fab almost anything to work and most rotary style stabilizers just need the correct mounting hardware to swap between bikes. I like the GPR but i've never used a piston style. The Scotts just has way too many adjustments and i'm by no means a suspension expert. my .02

What's "way too many adjustments" on the Scotts???  A couple of screws and knobs???  I'll agree with more options, but it's basically set and forget on the Scotts...

I like to set different adjustments when riding. Sometimes I need it stiff as hell and sometimes just a bit so the GPR quick 6-8 adjustments is great. Just my opinion. I hear it's one of the best stabilizers out there but I like GPR. Do they only make it in gold?
