well, i see the clutch disc, metal disc, outer clutch and everything is bad, the bike run fine but obviously as it must be

so i want change everything if is possible, i found one assembly in ebay but is of 929 01, look the same but in bikebandit i see other number parts
somebody know if fits?

1996 but i already buy a clutch assembly of 929 2001, check with dealer and "he say" is the same just the clutch disc is different but i get one complete, outter clutch, plates, discs, springs, everything so it must be a bolt on

No way.. i think your local dealer is a &%#$#@%^..... i have a 97 and the only basket that will fit in it is from 96-97- the 98-99 basket is total different. look at the gear on the back of the basket on older models its a 2 part gear and one gear is kinda off set. on the newer models the gear is solid and the crank gear is 2 gears one off set. the 929 and 954 are smaller then all the 900 that was one way for honda to shave rotating mass and gain horse power. and 93-94-95-96-97 all use 10 clutch plates 98-99 uses 9 plates. im not sure howmany are in the 929 and 954. if you go to RON-AYERS.COM you can see the differance in the clutches

My 97 model had some problem with the clutches and it was replaced from a 98 model by the mechanic. I'm not sure what all the components was replaced but he even had to replace the cover as well.
