I sympathize. Last night I passed plenty of people that were stuck just trying to get around town. Course, I was able to keep on going in my trusty wrangler. Grateful too, because otherwise I wouldn't have made my date.
I think somebody should start a cold weather support group thread for those of us who must brave the blizzards.

It's sunny and 67 degrees in here in Georgia today... we haven't had an inch of snow for like 15 years or something... one real bad ice storm 3 years ago up in Atlanta, but if you want year round riding move down south

One day it's 25 the next day it is 70. That is just how it is here in Colorado. Kinda just have to get lucky if you want to ride in the winter around here. Plus the DOT puts a crap load of sand on the roads from the ice/snow. It tends to effect the handling of a motorcycle, just a little... A good winter ride requires me to pack up my bike and take a road trip down to Az,Tx or possibly even Cali.

Oh, come on now...it's not that bad, okay maybe it is.

You just gotta take a diffrent approach at it, ^ that's what I've done the last two winters with my 400EX but this year I'm gonna try something new ...

Are those studs for real?.... HAHAHA

I wonder if it would really work.  I know my buddy studded his dirt bike tires, it still was a pain to drive in the snow/ice.

Or you could buy a snowmobile they are alot of fun too.
Wisconsin has alot of trails even some close to major cities like Milwaukee and so on.

I have a little dirt bike I like to putt around on in the winter and its alittle beat up so crashing is now big deal.
