how do you guys get this stuff? do you buy it at the track or online of what? id love to get something signed by nicky hayden, that would be sweet.
if you go to a race (say laguna) are racers more approachable than baseball players are at a game?

so you could see AMA guys? thats pretty cool though, alot of ama guys make it Moto GP too. yeah id like to meet anyone in the Hayden family, i love the whole background of that family.

Guy I know bought a Barry Sheene helmet off E Bay for $600.
The guy that sold it got it direct from Barry back in the day. He used to do a little racing back when Sheene was driving himself to races in a van, and this guy wanted a race seat off Barry. They kept missing each other and for years after, the guy would shout, "Hey, Sheene, where's my seat?" Barry would come over for chat but no seat. Years later, Sheene is at Goodwood and he hears the "Hey, Sheene, where's my seat?" He goes over, they chat, and the guy says "I'm not getting that seat am I? How about a helmet?" Sheene walks back to his R/V and comes back with a helmet and hands it to him! I woulda kept it myself, but he sold it to my friend.

Cool story, can't beleive he sold it. I think I would have to hang on to that one. Especialy for $600. It's worth a lot more than that. My guess is it would have sold easily for about 1000-1500 pounds on ebay.uk. That's about $2000-$3000.
