Hi can anyone help I have a 1994 CBR 600 F2 which was recently in a smash.  Due to people not putting enough of these parts on ebay i came to the conclusion on purchasing the F3 Repsol kit (as picture shows, which will come in 3 boxes).  I spoke to one guy who all he says i needed was a headlight and a different windscreen.  So i got them, just waiting on the parts now to get me bike back on the road.

But!!!!..always a but.
I recieved one box which included the rear 2 panels (the seat part)..
I noticed the panel has a curve for the rear tail light..which mine doesnt have.  Does this mean I need to have a different rear tail light?

Help needed asap...
Do i need a rear light, seat etc... before the rest of this kit comes.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you will need an f3 tail light. The seat should be the same if I remember right.

Yes Its the one from China... heres the snags..
Fitting this 96-98 Repsol fairing to my CBR FR model (1994)

1. When fitting the headlamp with the upper fairing the sides that go against the clocks is about a few cm away from the lip.
2. Do I need a new front bracket? as when i put the screen/visor in the holes (mirrors) dont match up to the existing holes on the
  bracket.
3.The front mudguard looks to tight to fit over the front wheel, not the same as the existing one.
4.the back rear panels go over a few inches at the rear, so you may need another grab rail.

Thanks

Help please as i have parts all over the place.
Be aware that you may need extra bolts and screws etc.. to fit these kits as you run out of the existing ones.

Some of that can be blamed on cheap Chinese quality, for bad fitup :(

Good luck man, I know not to buy one of those kits now!

the f2 seat should work but there will be a gap so the best bet is the f3 like you did and the taillight and bracket will have to be from the F3..

check out my pics  of the tail

Just got the seat and my camera is broken so cant upload pictures of front bracket for the headlight, as it currently sits down a slight bit and outwards.

Any help please let me know.

Right kits on, finally!!!
But , yes theres always a but!...Front headlight fairing is on but not 100%..say 80%, the 2 plugs either side of the headlight arent fully secure in but are holding and all bolt holes for the surrounding fairing are on with no probs.  Leaves a slight gap where the fasten clips to the centre section.

The holes on the F2 fairing bracket which the mirrors go on I had to make 2 additional holes for the visor and upper fairing to sit perfectly.  Word of warning when doing this make sure fairing is off the bike!!!!  I nearly had a close encouter.

So all in all kit is on, will post pics once I get some odds and ends for bike, such as i need the grab rail cant get one on ebay for some reason there like gold dust i reckon.

Later guys let you all know.
