gas tank slightly dented, damnnn, wouldnt want to see "dented" in your mind, that sh*t is fuc*ed uppppp mang

busapwr -> RE: Parting out 2004 Honda CBR600F4i with 9819 miles on bike!!! (12/10/2007 2:40:37 PM)

cjlerra,
I think the picture is a bit deceiving, as the small dent and scratches aren't that bad.
I guess racing and crashing bikes had made me a bit jaded as well though, since my present race bike that I split the frame in two on has a much more damaged tank on it.
I have seen the stunter tanks that I would consider much more damaged than mine, but it does take time to dent them just right. :-)
Thanks for the BUMP.

I think that CJlerra is looking at it from a far more aesthetic point of view, whereas you, being apparently a carreer racer, is looking at it mostly in terms of function. A small dent to you just means it holds a teesne less gas.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

busapwr -> RE: Parting out 2004 Honda CBR600F4i with 9819 miles on bike!!! (12/31/2007 2:01:19 PM)

O lively,
I just parted a 2002 F4i and it has a right passenger peg bracket only, as it just needs the peg.
My buddy Ryan Moore of 50Stunt.com makes some sweet pegs that mount on your stock brackets, too.

With regards to the tank, yes, I only look at the aesthetics on a "new" race bike.
After it hits the asphalt, all bets are off on looks, until the AMA officials make me correct the aesthetics.

Let me know if you want to get the right passenger bracket, as it is $25 shipped.
Talk to you later.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thanks.

I actually have the bracket but am missing the peg. but I'll be sure to check out 50stunt.com. thanks.

O lively,
Sorry I can't help you with parts.
Ryan actually makes some kick ass front rear sets as well, as you will see when you go to his web site.
If you end up buying, mention I sent you and he might kick you down a little discount, as I am sponsored by him.
I ride a 1999 BUSA on the street with his pegs, front and rear, and I have a 2005 50Stunt CRF50 as my pit bike.
Talk to you later.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thanks.

klutch_r -> RE: Parting out 2004 Honda CBR600F4i with 9819 miles on bike!!! (1/1/2008 12:57:40 PM)

I need the latching assembly for the rear seat...ie all the parts required to get the passenger seat to mount to the subframe.

busapwr -> RE: Parting out 2004 Honda CBR600F4i with 9819 miles on bike!!! (1/1/2008 1:05:10 PM)

klutch_r,
The rear seat latch from the 2004 F4i is not available, and the latch and lock from the 2002 F4i will be sold with the lock set for $85 shipped.
You could buy the lock set, then sell off the broken ignition, gas cap, and rear seat latch lock with one key and keep the latch parts you need.
Shoot me an e-mail to see the parts, as I am hoping to sell the lock set complete and not break up the parts.
Talk to you later.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thanks.
