Everywhere in The Dells is expensive. Sick, how many people are going with you? Anyone else need lodging? How much are you wanting to spend?

Mike

^Just called, minimum of 2 night stay for the 17th weekend. They forwarded me to the "Econo Lodge" and their rates are 104.95 for a king size w/jacuzzi and 89.95 for two queen size room. They have an indoor pool and hot tub...not sure if anyone else is booked there so I'm not too hyped about staying there.

Jake, you have a route set up?

Sounds like just me so far I may be able to pull my budy off his supermoto for a weekend, so me andone other maybe.  And from the way it looks aken got in to the comfort inn with a good price so that's prob where i'll wind up unless like i said somebody at the wilderness would like to have another guy go in with them.

I was thinking about planning a big route out but I think I would rather just go ride whatever way takes us to Devils Lake and back.  Or we could just drive around the Dells together, I think planning a route would be more difficult and not as fun as wingin it.  Plus I don't really know any of the roads up there besides look at them on google maps.

I think it will be fun no matter what roads we take.

Well the guy who is painting my bike told me that he may not be finished until May 15th, which is the Thursday before Dells weekend.  I have a rehearsal dinner and then wedding Thursday/Friday, so I can't dedicate all my time to finishing the bike before leaving for the Dells.

So chances are pretty good right now that I will not have my bike done prior to the weekend, so I will likely not be attending the CBR gathering.  I'll keep everyone updated if anything changes.

Yeah tell that to the guy who is painting my bike.  I explicitly told him I wanted it done by this weekend, and this is what I get.

Damn Aken, sounds like it's time to take a vacation day LOL. I took off early last week Thurs so I could do some sanding to prep my plastic for paint...4 days later, there mostlly ready, without paint. Looks like I may need to invest in some masking tape for next weekend.

Well my paint guy went to start spraying parts on Sunday, and the paint didn't stick right at all, and started fish-eyeing in places immediately after hitting the primer.  I don't know what he messed up, but now he wants to re-clean and re-primer everything.  So I am DEFINITELY out for Dells.  Have fun everyone.
