BLUE thank god you are ok. Good thing you had your helmet on. I don't know what it is about December. So far here in florida. The about of accedents here around me have tripled. This does include 2 people I knew too. The one friend who owned a bike shop I took my bike too did pass away after being in a coma for a week. The other got lucky. Then I found a new shop to go to and the friday after I went there the owner of that shop lost one of his best friends coming home from bike night at the local hooters. But I know this month is bad around here cause of all the snow birds (people from up north who spend winter in Florida)coming down here for the winter. They don't look for us. I hope you get yours fixed and or get a new one soon man. If you and captn ever come to Florida for Bike week or whatever let me know I take ya for a tour around here. Get better soon my friend.

Foxy...SONOFABITCH!!! I hate to hear that terrible news! The good thing is, of course, you are okay. Hope you get to feeling better, and your insurance company takes good care of you.

That suckS dude... I get annoyed at people who beak traffic laws "trying to be nice". THAT CAUSES...ACCIDENTS. Dumb f***ss. IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD AND WON'T ABIDE THEM TO THE LETTER, THEN STAY HOME. I DO KNOW...AND KNOW THEM WELL...THAT GIVES ME EVEN FURTHER RIGHTS TO OUTDRIVE OR SHOW PEOPLE HOW TO DRIVE. Old lady was probably trying to atone for some 30 years old sin before she meets ger maker...decides, I'll let Pizza boy have the whole damn road. Screwing up her bike. I like courteous drivers, but not the point where people at a 4 way stop refuse To go before the other one. Know what I mean.

Damn, sorry to hear. At least the car looks nice, so you should get good comp for your damages.

I just realized that your two wheeled Honda was taken out by a caged Honda. I would have been laying on the ground screaming " oh my neck, oh my back"

Finally got to see the pics, she doesn't look THAT bad, but yeah, its gonna still be espensive to repair, so they have a good chance they will total it. Just as an FYI though, and I don't see it happen much, I know you wanted to preserve the scene for evaluation, but if a bike is ever laid down, you need to pick it up as fast as possible to prevent oil from seeping passed the seals.

^^ I was always taught to leave everything alone and not to touch or move anything........so I did. (not to mention, this is my first major accident where it involved someone else.) So I decided to leave everything in place, just so the insurance companies wouldn't even have even the slightest chance of questioning it to further delay me getting it fixed/getting it replaced. And to everyone else, thanks for the kind comments and condolences. I'm not the type go to after the driver. He's a pizza delivery guy, sure he doesn't have much money (even if he did, it still doesn't make it right.) I'm fine, only some scrapes on the knee. I have GAP insurance, so either way my bike will be paid off if they decide to total it out, and I too have been guilty of making mistakes when driving. But I will demand that either the insurance company or himself pay for a new jacket, gloves and helmet. I'm not going to spend $800+ out of pocket to get new gear from a crash that wasn't my fault, no matter what the insurance companies classifies it as. As far as I'm concerned, the gear is part of the bike, was ruined in the crash, and should be added to the claim. I'll talk to my insurance to make that clear, hopefully later on today.
