I have a 02 929 i have owned for about 1 month it has 15k its immaculate but i have noticed if it sit for more than 2 days when i start it up, it has loud rapping noise, i know it needs the 16 k valve adjust im wondering if these bike sound like this when they start up cold? i dont think its the flapper in the exaust it sounds more like valves or tchain rattle... i work for honda but those r cars not bikez...so im not familar with these bike noises...i also read some where about a tchain tensioner update...do these bikes have oil pressure issues on start up ...how does the oil sump system work????

I haven't had that problem, but i know on the F4i's and some other honda's the tchain would start rattling after about 10K and it needs a tenchener put in... just went through that with a friend.
