hey guys,
I just got my new yosh RS-1 slip on in and I am also getting a PCIII usb in as well.  I went to power commanders website to see if they had any maps for the RS-1 slip on (not RS-3) and a K&N filter and I couldn't find anything.  do any of you have a map for this set up? and if no, how would i go about getting a map for my set up??   thanks guys and happy holidays!

BEN

call your local dyno operator and schedule a custom map tuning session.
its the only way to get a map that will be optimized for your specific bike

would using the rs-3/K&N map from powercommander.com be alright??   I don't really want to spend the 300 to get a custom map when I'm not racing or anything

it doesnt matter whether you are racing or going to starbucks. the oem fuel map was made to work with the oem pipes.
any change will mess with the air fuel.

powercommander maps are notoriously rich
now combine that with the fact that the same map on 2 bikes of exactly the same setup will not perform the same.

your bike will run without a pc3 period however if you want your air/fuel, torque curve, and throttle response to be the best they can be then spend the money and get the map.

i still dont understand why people will spend hundred of dollars on mods that enhance appearance or sound but shudder at the thought of spending some cash for performance.

Run the Dynojet map for whatever slipon you want, they're all pretty much the same. Spitting flames from the exhaust is fun!
