http://images.craigslist.org/010102010400010310200712282c9564967a9992b789001432.jpg

I dont care for the windscreen but thats fixable...........

But really im looking for any good deal, if i come across a f4i or rr 600 id buy that too.  I know 929 is a hella big bike but really I dont care what i get aslong as its a deal.  I have rode tons dirtbikes/atvs, and have a z28 and a z400 and a snowmobile. TOO MANY TOYS/MONEY PITS!! know the feeling?

They came with black wheels.  The Erion is just a limited (how limited? every man and his dog seems to have one!)  A number of us have recolored them to white 'cause they look pretty.  Buddy has also de-stickered the tail unit, non standard front indicators, can't see much else.  Having the Power Commandr is good, so long as it is mapped correctly.

These bikes are reliable, fast and easy to ride.  A great choice, though, if you have never riden a liter bike, you are in for quite a different experience my friend.  Go easy on right hand to get used to it.

Thanks guys for the great input!!  It will be probally next weekend before I will have the time/funds to get a bike.  Also found a red/black 929 w/16k for $3500 exc and similar mods as the erion.  I really like red/black cbr's, white just dont turn me on unless its the erion (sorry just my .02)

I really want to get a bike now before summer....if i decide I dont  like it, I can sell it for 2k more in the summer.

Either way buy what you want. I would just make sure the non title 954 has a paper trail you can fall back on. I would also have the numbers ran at the local PD just to make sure your not receiving stolen property. you can never be to safe with stuff like that and if the guy won't let ya run the numbers then walk away.

also remember it would be tougher to sell a 929 with a 954 motor and expect to get your money back. If I was looking for another bike and ran across that set up I would pass on it right away. but IM not a noob either to bikes.

I got several insurance quotes on the 2003 r6 and 929.  Its gonna be 600-1200 on just liability depending on options.

full coverage is around $2800.  Big ripoff I could pay for a bike in 3 years of insurance payments.

The 929 is actually a tad cheaper for liability insurance because it is a older bike.  The CC dosent affect that much cuz its not over 1000cc

I dunno guys.

BTW that 929 in forsale forum is way too far away.  Im in ohio.

Well guys, I got a bike. Sadly its not a erion.  Maybe someday I will get one if i outgrow this one.

got a 2003 yamaha R6......Picked it up this morning. dropped it off at storage, I havnt even road it yet its too dang cold 35F :thumbdown and wont ride it till its nice and warm out.  My buddy test drove it for me to make sure everything is ok.  He said its got balls, more than his brothers 05 cbr600. It sounds DANG good with the full exhaust.

thanks for your input.

It's a nice bike!  Sadly it's not the CBR, but that's alright.  I think I can give you a pass on this one!  Enjoy it and be safe!!

Even if you can do all the work, I would go with the bike that's ready to go.

You shouldn't have to spend as much for 2 bikes that are not complete to make one bike as a bike that is ready to go.

Think of a price that you couldn't pass up.  That is the price you should pay for the 2 bikes.  I would say the 2 bikes would be worthwhile for $1500.
