I haven't really heard anyone mention anything about oil. What does everyone use? I'm looking to change the oil in my bike soon and wanted to see what everyone use?

Sarcasm aside...

Honda recently modified their engine oil weight requirements for the entire CBR line from 10w40 to 10w30. you can still use a 10w40 though but honda has a 10w30 specific HP4S and GN4 line of 10w30 oils.

I personally use only Amsoil products.

The best thing to do is search 'thirdgenlxi' and do what ever he does to his bike. Don't overthink...just follow from the book of thirdgen.

Remember that if you bought your bike new, you are required to use Honda Full Synthetic Oil else it will void your warranty that comes with the bike.  Granted the honda oil and filter is expensive, $50 for four quarts plus filter, but it comes with great peace of mind.
