OFFICIAL ENTRY 2008 mileage contest: Post 'em up!

Alright guys here's the thread to post up your beginning odometer shot.  Remember pic must have a timestamp... ie a GPS or cell phone or any other device with a network set date and time, to show the date in the pic with the odo.  Also mention what bike you are including.

You can use multiple bikes, just log the odometer on each one along with the timestamp.  If you sell a bike, take a picture of the ending odometer reading, or if you buy a bike take a picture of the beginning odometer reading.  The grand total at the end, whatever you've actually ridden for the year by 12-31-08, is all that matters

I think that was about everything that was somewhat important.  Sooo I'll start....

im up for it :) good thing we can use multiple bikes because in 07 i had 5 bikes :) all with thousands of miles on them [:D]

It is times like this I miss living in Richmond.   I can not even get to my bike right now to take a pick of it my goldwing is sitting in storage till ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

But the MXZ 900 is out and in full form.

Im in ..Esp since most of my buddies can not believe i put 7500 miles on her in less than 4 months(not riding every day)..

It's sunny out sorry for the glare. Tried a few times and thats the best i can get my cellphone to read on the cam... 36061 is what it reads.. I prob dont have a shot either but it should be fun. I put 22k on it so far but it's winter now.

Alright.   Ya'll are all on.  [:D]   I've only put close to 6500 miles on her since I got her back in may.    Need to start making some trips.

Hey hey hey now.... [:(]  I actually do expect to do less miles this year than 2007 (I did do just a bit over 38k....oops!).  Seriously though I don't think I'll be doing quite as many, so I think it could be a fair contest for those that actually get out and ride some.  There's some guys on SBN that put me to shame, so I know there's some hardcore peeps out there!

Like I mentioned earlier... I do hope somebody else beats me... I'd like to see someone else able to enjoy riding their bikes as much as I always have.  I didn't post this up so I could win, I was just hoping it would be something fun to maybe help motivate people to get out and ride some [:D]

Well, I haven't ordered my new SpeedoHealer yet... I need the extended version because the original version doesn't have enough correction values. To put it simply, I have to multiply my MPH by 6 to get my actual speed. So, I'm assuming I would have to multiply the difference of the reading now with the reading at the end of the year by 6 to get my actual miles traveled. [:(]
I'm gonna sit out this year 'cause I won't buy the new SpeedoHealer til spring, but good luck to all... sounds like fun!

Im extremely motivated to ride right now, too bad its 24 below zero [:(]  Heck i dont even want to go out and put in the battery to take the pic. But when it warms up, look the heck out, yall better get a good headstart [;)]
