got an 06 600rr, fouled some plugs and when i changed them they were really black and smelled strongly of gas. and when i rode it didn't back fire but it had some poppin and crackin to it but nothin bad, throttle response was good though

I was wondering, I got the bike from my cousin in North Carolina and I live in West Virginia, he had the power commander tuned on a dyno, do i need to have that thing re-done for my location

the difference in locations shouldnt have that much effect on it, but if the map wasnt a very good one in the 1st place it might. lemmie consult my dyno tuning books and maybe ill have a better idea.

i was just wondering. the bike runs real good, it was done by performance honda in charlotte nc, i just didn't know if it could cause the fouled plugs

maybe you need a hotter plug for the map?

could be why you are fouling plugs a little faster then normal. do you know who did the tune? i would try to ask them if this thread doesnt produce anything of value.

I would think you got some bad gas(some water in it) ..THe map (if done correctly) shouldnt matter ..
