what are the symptoms? you're going to have to elaborate as to what happens when you switch the ignition to on (visually on the dash and audibly), what happens when you hit the start button (noises and the such), and the condition of the bike ie the bike is in gear, the kick stand is down, the run switch is in the off position, the bike was disassembled recently...

BTW, find a 2005 or 2006 Regulator Rectifier module and replace the one on the bike. the 2003 has problems...

Fantastic. Thank you very much.

sounds like a dead battery. unfortunately, it may be because of your Regulator/Rectifier Module. the 2003's and early 2004's have a very bad design flaw with the mounting bracket for the R/R. The cure is a replacement R/R and mounting bracket. you can snake one off a late-2004/2005/2006 cbr600rr for peanuts. your battery might be fine, it might not be. Charge it up using a 12VDC battery charger capable of supplying a 900mA rate for 10 hours. if this is not possible, use a regular automotive size 12VDC battery charger on a 2A charge rate for 5 hours. your maximum charge rate is 4A for 1 hour MAX.

should be good to go after all that.
