I just checked and mine has it too. It's probably only on the left side because it's a kick stand issue. This is good news I guess because it means the stresses of riding aren't causing the damage which means regular riding is less likely to make the problem worse. I need to find someone with an angle grinder and a MIG welder now.

IMO, the stress of the chain would seem more plausible to cause a crack on the left side, rather than the kick-stand
|

Although, if someone tried to ride off with the kick-stand down, I could see bad things happening.

That's a good point. Whatever it is, it sucks. I've got the whole thing apart to redo all the plastic and now I've found this. Should be easy to fix I guess.

The bolts were properly tightened... not too loose or too tight. I have welded the second frame with no issues so far.
