That should help you with sound.

Most of the pipes all are so close in performance, that really just pick on price, look, and sound you like.

If you want a hookup check out the dealers on the forum...they will hook you up!

i just installed the Yoshimura slip on and it sounds really good. not sure about the power. i think the slip on will give you a little boost.

the sound clip site is good for comparisons, but keep in mind that those tests were performed on a r6 and the sounds maybe different on your bike. and cj is right. all the exhausts are so close in power that it all comes down to what looks good to you and what fits your budget. you will probably get alot of people stating that their personal choice of exhaust is the best but i dont think there are any dyno charts out there to prove it. good luck. and also you might want to look into getting a power commander. they seem to add just as much power as the exhaust swap and allows you to custom tune your bike for any modifications that you do later.

You won't get that much power from a slip-on...

you get power from slip ons, its mostly lower to mid range (where people who ride mostly on the street want power) with a smaller increase on top. with a full system, you tend to change the powerband more to the upper rpms and it can make your bottom end a little choppier unless you get the power commander to smoothe it out and truley take advantage of the full system. all systems will give you different results but they are all pretty similar so get one you like looks/sound wise and you probably wont be dissapointed.

I was wondering if you HAVE to get a power commander when you get the slip-on. Is it a necessity, or will the bike run fine without it. Also wondering what's a good pipe that has a deep, throaty sound, but isn't ear splitting loud. I like to be heard, but don't want the neighbors shooting at my house either.
