Check out the site above to see if you have any of the listed helmets. These are ones tested that were put on the shelves with DOT on them. 8 helmets failed! I found it on the Motorcyclist Magazine website.

Wow! Scary stuff!! I've never even heard of the models they've listed (though I do find it interesting that the three vendor links in that article were all sponsored by Shoei or Shoei dealers!)...

never heard of those brands except for vemar, which ive crashed in and survived unscathed. But mine was the top of the line model. yeah i also noticed that all the sponsors carry shoei...
