^^ this is true, but for almost half the price they serve their puprose well on the track. The real question in my mind is why did vortex disco the f4i sets but they still have the f2/f3 ?

Half the price? same as the Vortex ones from that ebay store.

I wasn't aware they disco'd the F4i rearsets, maybe not very popular?

Is the ebay store "sum of all parts" ? I remember seeing some threads recently about people being very unhappy with ordering stuff and not getting it for weeks with no communication at all. I'd be careful.

For a while there were these chineese vortex clone rearsets on ebay that seemed decent, LNG, or LFG, or something like that.

Yeah sum of all parts, they have great feedback and have some recognition awards on ebay.

I havent been able to buy anything from them yet, although I have tried... They dont ship to Canada

However, I did just ask today if they will ship to "ship happens" at the US/Can border... We'll hear back tomorrow I guess!

I've never dealt with them personally, but I wouldn't make it up either.

I have done business with "sum of all parts".  I bought a 520 chain and sprocket set from them.  As for the email problems they told me that for some reasons that web based emails such as hotmail and yahoo filter their emails and some people dont get their emails.  I personally called their phone number and ordered that way. I also had to fish their email out of my blocked messages folder. I got all my tracking #'s through email and the product in about 5 days.

I trust 'em

hershey you may want to just call that number, I believe its on the auction page.  They will tell you if they can ship to you up there.

At 2,000+ emails a day I could understand a short delay in communication.

I've read quite a bit about them and they seem to do business right, you cant let a few bad experiences turn you off from a company with so many more positive experiences.

What do you do for work? You must be loaded...

Your wish list:

Chinese Fairings - $460 + shipping ($200 ish?)
F4i subframe - $100?
F4i shock - $40?
F4i headlight - $50?
F4i taillight/signals - $50?
Racetech springs, emulators, oil, seals - $300
Brake rotors, lines, pads - $610 ish
900RR motor swap - $500 ish
Headers - $200 ish
Wheels/tires - $2000
Rearsets - $200
Carbon fiber seat - $100

$4,810

Doesn't make sense to me, when you could sell the $2,000 bike, add it with the other lump, and buy a $7,000 bike???

Nope.Levers are available.I have two sets of CFMs.

I have Vortex rearsets I'll sell,if anybody wants them. I ain't using them.

The Chinese bodywork is junk.Worst fit I've ever seen.Stuff melts like shrink wrap.

lol...no not really at all...i just put all my money into my bike because its what i love. I build trusses, and it sucks and pays awfull...but anyway....yea i think you misunderstood what exactly im getting....im just reasearching to see what will give me the best bang for my buck. i plan on.....

Chinese Fairings - $460 + shipping ($200 ish?)
Subframe-(allready have) $35
Racetech springs, valves 15w, $170ish
F4i shock (allready have) $32
headlight & signals $50ish
F4i undertail w/ integrated turn signals $99
900rr motor-500ish
SS lines and pads- $150
Rearsets-$100
Used aftermarket slip-on-$50?

Total= Roughly 1446...plus i bought the bike for 1300....and am going to sell all my fairings for about 350 or so.....so i will have spent somewhere around 3k total...maybe a little more or less......and then...i can turn around when im done having my fun with it, and sell it locally to some highshcool kid riding on daddys coat tails for around 6k...and then get a gsxr 1000 or r1. Eitherway i think it will be worth it not only to have a one of a kind bike but i love doing all the work and upgrades etc. so its more for the love of bikes than the price differnce.

You wont sell the bike for 6 grand, sorry to be the one to have to tell you that... but nobody will pay $6,000 for a $2500 bike.

Not when you can get a 2006 600cc with low K that hasnt been modified (decreases value) for 6 G's.

A vehicle isn't an appreciating investment... sorry dude! not trying to be a dick, just maybe spare you some lost coin.

I've seen people try to do what you are trying to do, and their bikes NEVER sell, they always lose the money.

The only way to make cash off a vehicle is to buy it for close to nothing, return it to clean an operational status, and sell it.

Not dump a ton of cash into custom parts
