Anyone running these on there bike? Any one know if theres any major differences between these and woodcrafts...a store on ebay is selling these vortex rearsets for 200...and then if you have your stock rearsets in great condition you send them those back and they give 100 bucks back...seems like a good deal to me..and also much cheaper than if i got woodcrafts...what do you think?

Woodcrafts are overpriced and I cant find them anywhere. I'd stick with the Vortex. 1" up and 1" back, basic rearsets. Woodcrafts are probably adjustable, whereas Vortex are solid. I'd get the Vortex and send them your stockers. $100 for a set of nice rearsets is a steal.

Dont know how that works...but the rearsets come with everything you need, and the shifter/brake levers are fully adjustable.

Considering they're worth $380, I think you'll do okay for $100

I think you're confused... Fork oil seals, and dust seals are 2 different parts. Our forks are called "Damping Rod Forks", and they are completely different from "Cartridge Forks". Cartridge forks use Valves, Damping rod forks dont, as far as I know... http://www.racetech.com/popupwindow/GoldValveCartridgeEmulators.asp The cartridge emulators make a difference for racing purposes, but if you're just a new rider I would recommend you spend the money elsewhere. IE: Rider training, good safety gear, and good tires. But if you have lots of cash, spend it on those things, and buy the bling for the bike. Racetech says their gold valve cartridge emulators should sell for $170

F2 forks use seals, but do NOT come stock with emulators. Emulators are an aftermarket part that you stuff into the caveman forks we have, to make them act like more evolved cartridge style forks. Our forks are oldschool, so the emulators "emulate" a more advanced fork. Emulate: "to try to equal or excel; imitate with effort to equal or surpass"

The fork oil seals keep the fork oil retained in the lower section of the fork, or the "fork leg". The dust seals keep dirt/dust/debris/crap OUT of the fork. The dust seal is just a rubber squeegee type thing that is visible at the top of the fork leg where the fork tube goes in. The fork oil seal is inside, and retained with a clip.
