i heard you should buy aftermarket fairings if you are doing many track days.  my question is, who makes the best?

The Three best "race" bodywork brands IMO are going to be SharkSkinz, ArmourBodies (signature series) and Catalyst Composite.  I've used all three and have been very happy with all, Armourbodies being my favorite.

E-Racings makes some great fairings for very little money. They are selling them like gangbusters over on the Wera board and some other forums. Do a quick search for E-Racings on 600rr.net and you will find a plethora of info, photos, etc..

I currently sell a lot of these and have the cheapest prices on them. I can have a set for the 07 shipped for $365 to your door, retail is $350 plus $50 shipping. (see link in my sig)

I also have sharkskinz, but even after my 15% discount they are still $970 shipped.

I've got a set coming for my bike and was going to do an install "howto" and post it. They will be here monday.

Yep, the e-racings look pretty good for the price... I just got a set about 2 weeks ago, but not mounted them yet.  It's a little on the thin side, but very flexable, and from what I've heard the fit is very good.  Considering I can get almost two sets, and a few spare parts for the price of AB or SS makes them a really good buy.

Yep, i've seen both the carbon and glass in person.  Over Priced Junk is the first thing that comes to mind, quality is good but definately not great, and fit is pretty bad on the couple sets I've mounted up.  Not to mention I've heard a lot of people are having delivery issues with them as of late.

what kinda of windscreen will fit e-racing fairings? stock? is there a huge quality difference between them and shark skins?

krash -> RE: 07 CBR600RR aftermarket fairings for track days? (6/25/2008 5:02:59 AM)

damn, dragging up all these old posts, I thought I was having deja vu or something.  any windscreen will fit.

I have a couple of different sets of Eracings, love em.  personally have never owned sharkskins, but have heard these are better, a little thicker and less brittle while still flexible.   go with the eracings while you still can, if you look hard right now you can get them for about $365 shipped.   then Eracings  will be out of production for an undisclosed reason and unknown amount of time.  so whatever is sitting on the dock(literally on the dock in Ca) is all that is left in the country.
