I got the headlight from an ad I posted in Craigslist.  Some guy in Ontario was looking for a buyer and bodabing!  $200 shipped.

I can dig up the email if you'd like it.  I can see if he's got anything else.  Lemme know.

Where did you source the headlight and how much? Nice work by the way. I have a track front  and I need a front that still has the headlight hole if anyone knows of one around. Thanks

i have a oem upper that is primer white but needs some repair work done. you can see where the light sits in the corner its broken and where the windscreen sits right past the mirror mounts that piece is broken off. oh btw i forgot to mention i am in sacramento,ca

so it's just a 3 piece mount? one on each side and then the upper.  do the ram air ducts mount to it or would I need to build mounts?

it's just an upper and it mounts to the side fairings that are also the belly fairings?

Oh I'm sorry, you mean the race plastic?  If so, it's only a two-piece.

The upper and the belly pan.  If you look at my first picture, you can't see that it's one-piece (bellypan), but it wraps around.  Super simple to install and remove.  In all honesty, it's probably a 15 minute complete swap.

Then again, this is coming from a guy who got to the point where I could remove and reinstall F3 fairings in about 20 minutes.  F3's suck for that...

If you're interested, let me know.  I'm going to finish the tank today and get some parts primered - I'll hit the race fairings with a coat and show you how good they actually look.

I've got most of the body work finished, now I just need to finish the mid-fairings.  I'm pretty surprised at how well the tank repair came along.  Never really done anything like filling major dents before, it was pretty tough to get the right flow of the tank with the bondo, and it still isn't perfect, but it's pretty dang close!

I'll have more pics tomorrow as I finish the upper and get it put together.

Here are some pictures of the racing fairings with a shot of primer.  They're not in bad condition I guess.  Anyone want them?

Went back out and have been sanding all night.  Got everything primered except for the damn mids.

I think tomorrow I'm going to wire the HID's and get everything put back together so I can get some riding in.  It's supposed to be decent weather the next few days... we'll see.  I'm just not gonna take the bike out if it's nasty at all, I've done too much cleaning.  Got the calipers and rotor clean and sparkly.  I've got to cut the chain off so I can clean some more, but I'm gonna wait until I've got another one because this one is in pretty damn good shape.

Some parts on this bike are literally looking brand new after some cleaning.  I need to get that sticker off the swingarm, probably do that tomorrow.
