Hi guys, i recently got a 87 CBR 600, i don't really know a whole about it, but i do know that its too much of a project for me to fix. There's something really wrong with the wiring and short of rewiring the entire bike i don't believe i can fix the problem. My original intension was to fix it up to ride but i don't have a title for it and the state can't seem to find out who has the title. So, i'd like to part it out. I know the motor spins freely when i put power to the starter and it has good compression. Most of the bike is complete except for the top fairing which is missing. The bike was wrecked at some point but the previous owner made most of the cosmetic repairs neccesary (new plastic etc.) So if you are interested in any of the parts or if you would like the whole thing, you can message me and let me know.

What shape is the gas tank in? Also, where are you located?

Hey Mike,
The tank really isn't in the best shape, after the bike was wrecked someone painted it with some red primer and also with a little black, it has a dent on the side about the size of a baseball and the inside has a little bit of rust. i'll try and get a couple pics if you want. the whole thing is solid, and I'm sure its usable but if your looking for a pristine tank its probobly not what you want
