2nd post and you're plugging another forum, careful there buddy... some may get the wrong idea about you.

Anyways, I worked in KY all day today.  Pikeville and South Williamson, all covered in snow and ice.  How the hell are you riding!!!

More power to ya riding in the cold. I wish the roads would clear up here. I'd really like to ride.

that's just it. I'm not riding unfortunely.  Didn't mean to step on any toes with the plug. I've found that geographically based websites are better for group rides and bike specific forums are, as you would think, the best place for info on the bike. Different forums for different purposes. Sorry if I upset anyone.

You didn't upset me, I'm not the one they call the axe man.  Inside joke in case one of the mods sees this.  If I felt you really were just here plugging, your post would have moved per the rules.  Just letting others know I noticed and didn't feel it was the case.

The weather here in Kentucky has had quite a yo-yo effect here lately. We'll have 20 degrees and ice one day and 60 degrees and sunny the next. Right now I don't mind the cold cause the bike isn't running anyway.

What's up with the bike?

Apparently to much fuel in the cylinders. Took knightsluggers advice and cranked the throttle wide open and hit the starter button till the battery died. Charged the battery and repeated the process. Charged it again, hit the starter without throttle and she fired right up. Took her for about a 25 mile ride tonight in 32 degree weather. Chilly yes, but glad the bike was running again.

Nice to hear the bike didn't need any real repairs.
