I understand what you're saying. My bike still has it's warranty and it has a $600 upgraded pipe on it. You have to remember that listing on the new 07 is not the out the door price. It does not include official fees such as tax, title, license (another $135), my service contract/warranty ($660) and I also have tire and wheel protection ($499). I got the bike cash sales for $9210.01. So all of that added up makes it over an $11,000 bike. I think $8500 is a great deal for it. The reason I am selling it is because I had to move from Daytona Beach to Pittsburgh and I'm a full time chiropractor now and do not have the time, nor season to ride it. Let me know what the right price is for you and we can negotiate. Thanks for your interest!

Hmmm....let's re-calculate these totals: You paid: Value to others: $660 for service contract $0 (transferable to NOT the original owner? -- doubtful) $499 tire/wheel protection $0 ~$550 for slip-on $0 if somebody wants a full system So you paid $9200 OTD, put 3k miles on the bike and want to charge $700 less?!?! Sorry to seem crass or rude, but just because you got suckered into paying for all the extras at the dealer doesn't mean somebody else should compensate you for it. You'd be looking for a sucker to buy the bike for that much, IMO. Just my 2 cents.
