Ok, I'm mounting this guy: http://www.aerostich.com/files/images/detailed/4632_1a.jpg

It's going on my F4 and since there are no flat open places to mount it on the indicators, I went out and got some 1" x 1/2" L-brackets like these: http://www.sengsit.com.sg/image/l_bracket1.jpg

What I'm wondering is this: is it ok to put two holes in the top of the indicators box (you know the one that houses the tach, speedo, etc)? I'd need to put two screws (one for each L-Bracket) on the topside. These screws are only 1/2" long and 1/8" diameter. I just don't know how crowded the wiring and such is behind the shell, and I thought someone here might know.
