So I'm tired of being dumb on the street, plus hurting myself! (woops) Anyhow, I'm turning my 06 600rr into a track bike. My question is, if I go with race farings am I going to be limited to a certain class on track days or does it matter? I don't really want to dive into my motor until something goes wrong, so if race fairings put me into a class were there is a ton of motor work done on other bike I  want to be prepared. Any help would be great, thank you.

Track day organizers split you up by skill level.  You'll start out in beginner and have to prove you're fast enough to move up a class.  Capability of the bike doesn't really matter.  The type of bike and bike mods only really come into play if you're racing with like WERA or something.
