Man, what an awesome job you're doing!  Wish I had a garage and a nice set of craftsman's, not to mention the time to do it.  Great fotos.  (I think I'm gonna follow your lead on what to do with my exhaust pipes)

When you've got it all back together, send it down here, and I'll ship you my F2.  And when you're done with mine... we can trade back.  I'll even throw in a case or two of that Raspberry Snapple.  You're cool with that, right?  LOL

toothbrush and simply green on the plastic (hand wash the inside/outside of the farings), brake cleaner or simply green on a rag works well for the grime on the frame, ummm eagle 1 never dull for the bare metal that you want to shine up...i think thats about it that i can remember from my head. o ya i used a power washer for my wheels but had to be careful not to get to close to rip off the paint.

i am the 3rd owner. the first owner just took it on road trips and the 2nd owner barely used it and then sold it to me. has 32 or 34,000 on it so i am surprised it was that clean when i found it for sale. its also a 92. ran and looked like new so i knew it would be the perfect beginner/first bike.

I use a salamander in my garage to keep it warm.  Works well, sometimes I have to turn it off because it gets too warm.

Real nice, Clark!

Hell if mine were that clean i'd just put the tank and seat on, tighten the chain and ride it naked! (you decide if that's the bike or me...)
