I live in northernish Ontario.. still have 2 feet of snow in my backyard. Had a couple warms days, but not enough to clear out ALL of the roads yet.  Hate it.

Bike looks great, hate to tell you this though...

That exhaust paint will be gone after about 3 rides

think starting the bike a few times for a short bit then shutting it off will help by baking the paint on before i take it for a spin and get it real hot?

Probably not mang, it'll cook off either way

I recommend ceramic coating, cost is low, looks fantastic

To be honest, as long as the temp on the paint is above 1200 degrees you should be fine. (If I remember from a month back from reading you're first post you used 1400 degree paint). I used 1200 degree primer on my headers and 500 degree gold paint and the gold flaked right off, but the primer is stuck on there with no signs of chipping. So, from my experience you should be fine with 1200 degree temp paint on the headers.

With every "high temperature" paint experience I have had, it all burns off...

VW Beetle dunebuggy exhaust, my friends F2 headers, etc.. Paint didnt last more than 2 heat cycles
