If I bought a 99-02 Yamaha R6 Yoshimura Exhaust used, will that fit on my CBR? I'm sorry if it sounds like a dumb question.

Sadly, no, it won't fit. Yamaha's exhaust for those years is not like your CBR's. (Though I'm not sure what year your CBR is). The CBR's have the center-up exhaust under the tail. Yamaha's have never gone that route from my knowledge.

Now... I guess if you know someone who's a fabricator and has access to a welder and exhaust pipe bender, I figure you COULD have some kind of custom get-up done to get the actual exhaust canister to mount up somewhere... but I highly doubt it's worth the time or money, unless you've just got easy access to those things. Otherwise, I'd just toss the Exhaust up on e-bay or Craigs list and take the money you get and flip it for an exhaust ment for your bike.

Only the RRs have the under tail exhaust, Depending on what year cbr you have and style im sure you could fabricate it. It is not going to fit like a glove on your cbr. However it is possible for you to fit it on there as long as you dont have an RR. The 02 R6 exhaust is way to big and long to fit. Maybe on an f4i or f4. Good luck. Maybe post some pictures of the exhaust and bike and we can decifer better.

I am pretty sure Yamaha's and Honda's mid-pipe ends and slip on ends are different sizes, not by much, but enough that it is a B#tch to do. I think you will have more work trying to make it work then you would if you just sell it and by one specificlly for your bike.
