What i think i am going to do is paint it a matching black, then do vinyl silver to match, and get a honda decal off ebay. Then get it clear coated after all the vinyl is down.

Someone photoshopped a pic for me(my skills arent that great yet).. and i am going to do this, but get a new honda decal and overlap the silver vinyl.  So i wont be anywhere near the gas cap, thank god. Should look decent.

Looks awesome.  I was thinking about getting a Smoking Joes kit but decided to do the body prep and pain myself(I have access to a paint booth).  I can't think of a design but I love what you have.

I think for myself I'm going to do black for a dominate color with the Honda Wings on the side similar to the RC51s.

Also I'm glad I finally get to see what the V&H exhaust looks like on the bike.  I just ordered one for my bike.  Except I got the last FUll System V&H had and it had a Carbon Fiber can.  But I set my carbs for a Full V&H exhaust so I really had no choice.  And I couldn't find any other full systems.

Yea, i was going to do a prep n paint myself. But i decided to do this rather than use a makeshift paintbooth. I was going to do a honda wing sceme like the F4i's. Silver bike, black wings. Woulda looked pretty schnazzy imo. If these fairings melt ill probably do that over the summer.

Can't you line the fairings with Dynamat and use that for heat protection.  For some reason I thought people used that for heat protection.

dynamat has the weight of a freakin bullet proof vest..lol..sure i could if i wanted to weigh as much as a harley...lol. I was thinking of exhaust wrap..either do the pipes or just line the inside of the fairings with it

I would rather drop $40 in heat reflector than risk melting a great set of fairings.

I believe another set of this black and grey scheme is on ebay again, if anyone else was looking.
