Where does a guy find NEW body parts for my 87 1000F? - 2/17/2008 5:32:58 PM    NooB   Posts: 6 Joined: 2/17/2008 Status: offline Hey fellas, Hoping someone can lend me a hand, I have just bought 2 1987 cbr 1000f Hurricanes for a steal, but the bodys are in less than good shape. I have been searching all over for new OME parts and can only find stuff for the 600's. Are these parts interchangeable? I am totaly new to the metric bike thing,  Harley Davidsons have been my drug of choice but now I want a change. Thank you for lending a hand. Post #: 1

I also picked up a spare motor that has been totaly gone threw. I payed all togather $1000.00, 500 for the 2 scooters and 500 for the motor. I have found lots of OEM parts now but the frickin price is unreal, I wouldnt mind spending around 1000$ for a complete set but thats unheard of. Will keep ya all posted . There's a co called Japbikedismantlers in New Zealand who are very good - contact Denzel, who's the owner. Very helpful guy. Try Bikebitz on Google - also may have what you need.
