you could anodize your swing arm? But beware it will fade so you have to have a cover, and make sure you keep it in the garage. but it would be a new look

300.00 to powder coat the swing arm? From what you were sayin about putting bearings back in I dont think that price included the labor of removal. That seems pretty steep... How can a person get 2 rims done for under 200.00  and a swing arm is 300.00?
Not saying that this is the way to go, but the college around here has classes for powder coating, the students are always looking for things to powder coat. Keep in mind they are students and that it is free... Kinda 50/50, you never know how it may come out!

I paid $90 for the powercoat.I purchased another swingarm and had to replace all the bearings around $90 bucks for the bearings and seals

thanks ,I just wish I were able to do the bracket that holds the rearsets. But i was using the rearsets to hold up the bike being the swinger was off.I guess i have to find some goo gloos black paint and shoot it on the bike.

I have a swingarm that im about to send off to get powdercoated anyone interested in buying it?if so let me know exactly what finish you want.I did gloss black, the only thing is the frame is more of a dull gunmetal.i have enough black on the bike that it looks fine imo.
