My buddy has a  06 zx10 that thing will smoke a busa...He also happens to have much bigger balls than me.You should see this guy in the twisties.

I dont need no more poer than what my 54 has any more would only result in more work and pucker episodes in the turns.

wow.  Thats why I love the 54.  Couldnt ask for more and this is my first bike.  Still enough power to scare the shit outta me.  Not too much, and I dont think I could outgrow it.

either your have a strong ass motor or your buddy is scared of his bike.My buddies zx pulls out and stays there from the start.I can hang with other buddies R1 in the straights but I get the edge on him in the turns.

I can speak up here a little bit, if its the guy i'm thinking of he is an o.k. rider but not great, Bob can definately out ride him by a lot. I'm sure that had a little to do with it. I also know Bob's bike was geared, well a couple diff times, so i am sure with experience on his side and he was prolly -1 +2 he had a good edge outa the gate. I'm sure Bob can chime in and correct me though. From a general perspective i think the 54 prolly should pull a zx10 to 100mph or so, even though we are out powered. I have no probs jumping out on newer liter bikes, they are so hard to keep down, mine i can roll in and hammer it much sooner.

ya you got it.. flyboy ya he couldn't launch that zx10.. when i had my 600rr and he had his r6 he could beat me but i practiced my launchs and took r1's zx10's.. at the start.. and stayed in front as long as taht motor would let me .. also i had it -1 +2 when i first put it back together.. and after i ate of my rear sprocket i bought a new setup.. -1 +5
