I once saw a quick throttle adaptor for the f2. It was just a little plastic piece that snaps over the tube. I can't remember where I saw it... looked on Google, I the one I saw was from a US supplier. Does anyone know where I can find one in the US?

If you do not want to use a zip tie you can use an R1 throttle bodie (1/5th turn) (04 and up) or an R6 (Not R6S) which has 1/6th turn.

Both are available at your local Yamaha dealer.

There is a link with pics for the zip tie mod.

Not available for this particular bike but good info for future if you need it.

thanks for the info. which yamaha throttle bodie works better in your opinion? Not to sure about the reliability of the zip tie have you had any success with it. Don't want it to trip out on me or jam open if done incorrectly. The throttle is the most important element when riding you know waht I mean...If need be, would like to talk with you 310 743 2397 it would be great to meet ya...
