i have a -2,+2 sprocket change on my 01' F4i mostly for added acceleration in the canyons. i'm not really a stunter but i do play with wheelies a lil bit. The best i can really do is hold a sit down for about 3 or 4 seconds. Guys have told me that the smaller front sprocket will have "ill" effects when trying to bring the front end up and a larger rear sprocket would be much better for bringing the front end up at a slower and much more controlled pace. Just want to see what you guys thoughts and experiences are with this situation? thanks

i always run stock front sprockets and change the rear on my stuntbikes. "they say its bad for your chain with a real small front"..... i have +12 on my f4i and a +10 on my 954

anyways 1 tooth down in the front is like 3 up in the back. your gearing is fine to do wheelies(as is stock gearing, which is not as choppy). the only way to make your wheelies more controllable is practice and make sure you know what to do with your back brake. or go back to stock and it wont be as choppy or touchy like i said before

I wouldnt think that going down just one in the front would do much harm but more then that would probably be bad.

Just use the gearing you have. You don't need a sprocket to do anything. A bigger rear gives more torque and better engine breaking for slow stuff. Until your ready for that get all the basics down with what you have. Blow the money later!
