I keep thinking about this and I think of bworn crush washers, overtightened banjo bolts, kinks in the lines, seals and rings in the caliper shot... But all three at once? Man - I just don't know. I'm with Havoc, something seems missing.

Drain the fluid, pull the calipers and lines, flush the lines with good new fluid, try to pull out the pistons, if they don't come out by hand use air, be careful, check them for corrosion. If they are corroded chances are the master cyl. is too. Don't use DOT 5, it compresses. If something else got put in the resevoirs, over time of not acctuating the mechanics they could have corroded the pistons or swelled the seal or who knows. All three at the same time is messed up but leads to believe it has something to do with mainenence or downtime, something that all three went through. If you drain the whole system, put the fluid in something where you can look for evidence of trash, i.e. the lines breaking down from the inside out. The wife/girlfriend have hard feelings about the bike? I wouldn't put it past some chicks to unscrew the resevoirs and dump nail polish remover or sugar it them. Dangerous but possible?? What's that about tough love^^^^^^^. 2c

I'd like to know the verdict on this, what happened/cause if it's figured out.

Yep. I hate this the most... Threads left in Limbo. Not that that is what the OP intended, but... What's the story mornin' glory?
