Why do all the old CBR's like the F2's and F3's have those crazy awesome paint jobs, and all the new bikes look plain and ordinary unless you re-paint.??? it makes me want to buy a new bike and paint it like a '93 F2. i just dont understand...

Good question. I know what you mean. The F2's and F3's came in sick and crazy colors. But I like the recent limited edition 600's and repsols.

You remember the clothes people wore in the 90's?  Crazy ass neon shit. Thats why, it was just "in style"

Yeah, everyone here wre paddock jackets to match their bikes.

Some rich bloke with an RC30 in about 1989 used to turn up at the bike meet wearing white leathers and white boots!

Give me the Rothmans or the Pepsi paintscheme anyday of the week...   I was never fond of the Durex livery on the Suzukis!

lol. ill always be a fan of the bright neon riding gear. those colors look pretty badass, especially if they match your bike well. im looking for a neon yellowish/greenish helmet to match my rims and windshield.

I like the old flashy paint jobs of the older bikes. I have a 97 900, it has a pretty wild paint scheme too. Dont get me wrong I really like the new bikes, but i have wondered the same thing.

i was talking to some folks at  a few different dealerships and they all said that everyone either wants a solid color or straight black/red nowadays. i fell in love with the 90's paint jobs on CBR's. and thats why no matter what bike i get i'll always get the paint redone. ^_^
