Anyone got an idea on how to customizing this headlight? I just bout an 01 F4i from a friend of mine for 2 grand, great condition. What a deal, can't really beat that. The only thing i don't like about it is that stupid single headlight on low beam. The other headlight only comes on when you put the thing on high beam, which can be annoying to the riders in front of me. Anyone came up with an interesting or cool way to change that. Ideas please

there is a way to change it, but it involves converting to H4 bulbs. also draws more juice, there's a how in another CBR forum but not allowed to give the link. you may wan to just consider lowering the high beams a little bit.

Be careful with running both lights, I killed my battery that way last month on my f4i, the charging system is marginal at best. I was crusing around not long after a snowfall so i was taking it easy (ie low revs) with the high beam on, and parked the bike for a few minutes. The battery was as dead as a door nail, would not recharge, had to buy a new one. I ride every day it isn't raining so the bike had not been sitting long. I do have Xenon gas bulbs, but their supposed to be stock wattage.
