Hello -

Just curious as to why this CBR forum was created. Trying to attract a different demographic? e.g. more mature, less stunters, more safety oriented, etc? Or just trying to provide an alternative? Whatever the case, I'd love it if this forum could gain momentum and attract more members. But I must say it's pretty tough to compete with the other forum (16,000+ members and loads of content)

I know this forum is brand new and it takes time to grow. But I think it might be helpful if the site were categorized further with regard to the topic headers (a suggestion/question right off the bat - should the "Gallery" link from the top right menu be in the GENERAL section; that top right menu is the last place I would look for a "Gallery" link).

I'm sure a lot of you are members of different forums and can provide input on exactly what the headers should be. But if the aim of this site is to become THE place to go for all things CBR related (or at least a high traffic forum loaded with good info), then I think the site organization is gonna have to come pretty close to mirroring http://forums.cbrworld.net/

A more precisely categorized forum makes searching/browsing/posting more efficient and a more pleasant experience overall. This further categorization may help promote more posting in the short run. In the long run, it will serve as a more functional framework for a high traffic forum (let's hope it gets there).

I agree but I think the main goal now is to attract more members. As our numbers grow, that will dictate what chages the site will go through. I think we are on the right track for now. Though I wish we had a better looking gallery section. What do the rest of you think?
