Hey, did you have to take the fairing completely off? I put a set of flushmounts I don't like and am gong to the Hotbodies...but I was able to remove from the side fairings only and still install.

Just wondering...thanks

HighRevver, did they come with load resistors and do you or anyone know if these will work with an integrated tail light? I remember reading some where how they will not work if the tail light is already on the bike. I want to buy a pair, but if the tail light has to go then I'll find something else.

I have both intergrator for tail and hotbodies flush mounts. they work great with or without resistors.

It's a sad day..... my flush mounts showed up, but were meant for a GSX. I found this out after I had already striped the bike down.

CJ... how did you get to the back of your stock signals? If you tell me all you did was remove the vent ducting and that gave you enough room.... I'm jumping. I'm climbing the tower and counting the dongs... You know what. Humor me and never speak of this again.

I spent over two hours on the phone with the eBay guy and Hot Bodies Racing explaining to them they made a mistake and they're not getting me off of the phone unless they make good on this. Seriously... They told me to ship their mistake back and once they received and inspected the signals, they would ship me the right ones. Not good for me since my bike is in pieces and I don't want to keep taking it apart and putting it back together. I explained .... your mistake, you're in CA... you have plenty of time to get a new set, the right set to FedEX or UPS and have them over nighted to me. I am not settling for your mistake... they went on and on and on about they couldn't ship me a free set. I ALREADY PAID FOR THE CBR ONES AND YOU SENT ME A SET FOR A GSX!!!!!!! I kept asking for a manager, a supervisor or hell.... give the owner. I'm not settling. I the right set here and I want them tomorrow. After being placed on hold for a good ten minutes letting me boil even more.... They came back and told me they are shipping a set over night and just send back the ones for the GSX when I get time. WTF..... At one time the deal was once I gave them a tracking number, they'd go ahead and ship me the right set. I still insisted OVERNIGHT!!!! What's the difference? You may have a tracking number, but it will be a tracking number for a picture of my ASS. Can you tell I'm still a little mad over this? I went on my honor and actually drove to a UPS Store a few blocks from my home while I was still on the phone. I shipped them out against my better judgment and took them at their word that I have a set in over night shipping. Might be naive... but I'm sticking to my word and hope they do the same.

Ummm.... I'll have a second opinion about CA integrated LED tail light and HB flush mount LEDs by the week end. Wish me luck.

Too bad about your troubles...I believe the proton lights I got on my bike are the same for the 600RR ( remember I have a 1000rr) and my reason is that the Hotbodies list the same signal for both bikes....if you end up gettin jerked around call Motodiablo and ordere a set. Did you two get your exhaust system yet?? Just checking since I have not really been in touch with Apex or even on the CBR site very much lately....

No... we haven't heard anything yet. I thought you said they were on back order until February. After this... I'm afraid. My exhaust will probably show up on time, but it'll be for a 1972 baby blue amc gremlin

to Cj, i was replacing the front and left mid cowls at the same time as the light install because of my wreck i just got all of the fairings and blinkers shifter etc within a week of eachother so i did it all at once....that might explain the 11 hours. But ues i striped EVERYTHING off the front.

that makes sense HighRevver

and Don...THAT SUCKS!!

oh and so easy to switch out my front signals the first time...just undid the 3 hex nuts to connecting to the side fairing and made it happen.

Oh, I just finished painting my red hardware last night...will put back on tonight since dry now and post pics tomorrow!!

I still need to get black for the rest of the hardwear and swing arm.

And Limpy, I am so jonesing for my pipe. I went to the Honda Dealer last night. Heard a 06RR with a Two Bro Stainless and sounded sweet!!! So, so, so excited! Don you are gonna love it!

Sorry to hear the bad news Don. Way to hold your ground though.

By the way, my Gremlin has a couple holes in the muffler. I'll by that exhaust from you if you want to sell it. I have a pair of old shoes that I'd be willing to trade...
