With World Superbike having two rounds in the books and Daytona happening right now, track days are not too far behind. Signed up for the first track day of the year, May 10 @ Road America.  My favorite track . Now I just need to finish the work on the CBR. Jaybird - Ah, at least you can make it this month. Winter is holding on here. Only managed 30 miles of ride time this year so far. Haven't been on track since August last. I actually go to a lot of tracks with my dad to watch ALMS. We went to Lime Rock, Mid Ohio, and Road America last year. An annual event for us is June and the AMA races at Road America. So I will back up there in June. We use to get Media Credentials but last year they tolds us we are no longer "Major Motorcycle Media". I had a rough time going back to spectator. They have 1 following the AMA races on June 9th. Probably thinking why I'm not doing the June. I really didn't want the bikes sitting for three days on a trailer, stressing the suspension and being a target for theft. I'll be crewing for Lithium motorsports, Rob Oliva will be running FX and I think Jason Braun will be running Supersport & FX.  Stop by and say hi! How soon on your new arrival? I'll say congratulations! , now.  I'm making note of the team so we can stop by and say hi. I'll remember to look for you at BFR too. We go watch and take pictures. I'm still undecided about actually racing. The bike would need a lot of work to pass race inspection. All the CA Emission crude is a problem in itself. ---- Jake, Well, we have our usual hotel reserved for AMA - Road A. Thanks for the invite tho. Perhaps we can hook up sometime over the weekend.
