Jardine Duel is No.1. It Looks and sounds like a race bike. I love it. it was the best decision I had made in having compared to the other mufflers out there. Yoshimura would be my second choice

if you want the "BEST SLIP-ON" you need to cough up the cash and get something in the 6-700 range sato, arata, akro, These are virtually the best and they claim much higher HP when mapped correctly.

NOTE: Find a pipe that replaces the mid pipe as well. not just a can...

Everyone keeps saying sato, arata and akro give much higher hp than other slipons.  I understand a full system giving big hp gains, but a slipon is only going to give a few hp.  Is the big $ slipon really worth  one or 2 hp gains? Even though the Jardine is less money, I got it for the cool look and the big sound.  To me a slipon is for looks and sound and a full system is for performance!
ps-I have had 2 Akro full systems on a Busa and Gixxer, but wanted something different on this bike.

I couldn't agree with you more...I have bought slips and basically bought for sound/looks vs real preformance.

yeah cause a 150 horse isn't enough right! same deal here i picked the m4 on looks, and sound. and price was also a factor. sorry but i am not gonna pay 700 dollars for a slip-on. i could have gotten a full system w/alum. canned arrow pipe for just over 800. but i am on a budget and could only spend half for now. i may in the future save up and get a full system and power commander? but for now it looks better and sounds better then stock.

yeah custom tune on a high end slip on, has been recored 8-10hp gains (claim from the manufacturer) others on this forum will agree. They hit these numbers because they are more than just a can. Most include the mid pipe as well.

I have the Titanium Sato Slip on and with my PCIII custome tuned they say i should see a 8 HP gain. i will let peopel know once teh weather warms up a little.

If your doing it for sound keep yoru stock one and drill holes in it...

"If it doesn't make it go faster, stop quick, or turn better, you don't need it!!"

P.S. if your going to start a thread called "BEST SLIP-ON" than expect the best answers. I think what you really meant to say was "BEST SQUID PIPE" or "WHAT CAN SHOULD I BY TO GET ATTENTION", those are more appropriate names for this thread.

the ? was not what slip-on are you guys running?-interesting-you buy a $9k plus bike to be cheap to slap on a $400 exhaust-ironic-true most guys here can't utilize the 100+hp of a 600 let alone the 150 of a litre bike-funny how when it comes to mods-owners become thrifty-like i said- i installed, heard  and seen a jardine on a 07-cheap sounding- you get what you pay for-my.02$

true he did say what was the best slip-on, but did he say what slip-on will yeild the best power results? and i have seen no dyno runs posted back to back on the same dyno with the results showing any pipe to be better then any other pipe? "they say i should see a 8 HP gain." ok so if i say it then i am some squid who knows nothing, but let a website say it and its fact? i say it is more the tuner of the bike then a slip-on. you can have a high end slip-on with a power commander and filters, but with a "bad" custom map it will. or you can have a "squid" slip-on as i have been told i bought, with the same set up done by a better tuner, and end up with higher numbers. who cares what slip-on you buy get the one you like. thats what i did. guess that makes me a "squid"
